Uninstall File and Printer Sharing
Windows XP

[Note for Ein-Kerem campus users: Those who have joined the new (EKTNG) system should not do anything - the process has been completely automated].


Step 1

 

  • Right click My Network Places (from Desktop or from the Start menu) and click Properties

Step 2

 

  • Right Click the icon: Local Area Connection and click Properties.

Step 3

 

  • Choose: File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks and click Uninstall.

Step 4

 

  • Click Yes
  • Close the next window


In case you have no choice but to use File and Printer Sharing again - follow the installation guide.
