If you are connected successfully and you can't reach sites
with your browser (The problem repeats itself especially when
connected behind a router) - try to change your proxy settings
according to our guides.

If your browser' behavior is abnormal: slow, "wrong links", loads partial pages, etc. You might have spyware problems.

If you are having problems browsing to certain websites on the
internet while connected from home, you may consider using this
utility to adjust your PC's MTU setting.
The following instructions
are valid for Windows Vista:

- Click Start
- Click Run
- Type cmd and click OK
|
Step

- To view current MTU value type - netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
- To set MTU value - netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Local Area Connection"

- In the search bar, type cmd and click OK

If you try to access HUJI site and you get a blank page, check
if the browser's encoding is Unicode, and change it to Auto-detect:

- Go to Page-->Encoding
- Choose Auto-Select

Note for Internet Explorer 7 users:
If the Tools menu does not appear press the alt key. |

If Google tool bar is installed in your browser, it might cause
serious browsing problems.
It is recommended that this program be uninstalled. To do so, please follow the software uninstallation guide suitable for your version of Windows here.
Please note that in step 3 of the guide you should choose "Google Toolbar for..." from the list of installed programs.
