Updating Definitions Manually

The eUpdate feature of this version doesn't work. Therefore you'll need to download and run manually the definition file:

  • Download the latest definition file from our site.

  • Double click the file with the name format:Virus Definitionsxxx.sit

  • Double click the folder with the name format: Virus Definitionsxxx

  • Double click the file with the name format: Virus Definitions...

Starting a Manual Scan

Step
  • Double click your hard drive.

  • Double click Virex folder.

  • Double click Virex application.

Step

Repairing the entire hard drive:
  • Click on the Repair icon.

Step

Repairing specific files or folders:
  • Go to Repair from the main Virex's menu.

  • Click Folders or Files...

Step

  • Locate the files/folders you wish to repair.

  • Click Choose
