Installing VirusScan 8.6

  • Uninstall any previous anti-virus software.

  • Restart your computer

  • Close ALL running applications.

  • Double click mcafee86mac.zip

  • Double click folder VSM86LML

  • Double Click the VirusScan 8.6.dmg inside the folder.

  • Double click VirusScan.pkg

Step

 

  • Click Continue

 

Step

 

  • Click Continue.

 

Step

 

  • Click Continue

 

Step

 

  • Click Continue.

 

Step

 

  • Click Agree.

 

Step

 

  • Click on your hard drive icon.

  • Click Continue.

 

Step

 

  • Click Install.

 

Step

 

  • Type your Mac Os X password.

  • Click OK.

 

Step

 

  • Click Close.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note:

If while trying to run Virus Scan, an error appears or a license is needed - uninstall Virus Scan and then reinstall it.
