Installing Virex 6.2.1


A Guide for System 8.1 - 9.x Users


Note:
Virex 6.2.1 can only be installed on bootable systems, it can not be installed on the classic environment under Mac X.

 

Step

  • Download Virex_62.

  • If Norton is installed in your computer, download NAV7.0.2.

 

Step

 

  • Uninstall any previous anti-virus software.

  • Restart your computer

  • Quit all running applications.

  • Double click Virex_62.hqx
  • Double click the folder Virex_62
  • Double click Install Virex

Step

 

  • Double click Install


Step

 

  • Double click Install

 

Step

 

  • Unmark the options: Remove old versions of Virex and Save current preferences.
  • Click Install.

 

Step

 

  • Click Quit

 

Step

 

  • Click OK.

  • Restart your computer.
