SPSS 12 - Installation guide for Windows

 

 

Insert the installation CD. Begin the installation and follow the instructions.
Step 1

 

  • Click Install SPSS.


Step 2

  • Click Next.

 

Step 3

 

  • Mark I accept terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next.

 

Step 4

 

  • click Next.

 

Step 5

 

  • Type your name in the user name field.
  • type Hebrew University in the Organization field.
  • Click Next.

 

Step 6

 

  1. You will be suggested a directory for the product to be installed. If you want to install SPSS to another directory use the Change button.
  • Click Next

 

Step 7

 

  • Type the license code you've received from the Microshop in the license Code: field.
  • Click Update.
  • Click Next.

Step 8

 

  • Mark Complete.
  • Click Next

Step 9

 

  • Click Install.

Step 10

 

  • Don't mark Register product online.
  • Click Finish.
License renewal

 

  • The license code is valid till November, licenses holders can receive a new code from the Microshop.
  • In order to renew, find the file licrenew.exe and double click it (it can usually be found under C:/program files/spss)
  • When a window will open, type the new code in the Enter license code line.
  • Click Enter
  • you will now be able to run SPSS as usual .
