Matlab R2020a Network License - Mac Os X Installation

Notes:

Compatibility: This version is compatible with system versions 10.13.6 ,10.14 and 10.15

License Files:

  • Click here to download the zip file containing the File Installation Key (FIK) and mathlic.dat files.
  • MATLAB installation requires typically hard drive space of 5 to 8 GB. A full installation is 31 GB

 

Uninstall previous versions of Matlab before installation:

  1. Drag the previous MATLAB folder to the trash, and then select Empty Trash from the Finder menu. 1 From the Finder, select Go To Folder from the Go menu.
  2. In the Go to the folder field in the Go To Folder dialog box, enter:
    /Library/StartupItems/MATLABLmgr
    and click Go. A window titled MATLABLmgr appears, containing several files.
  3. Drag the MATLABLmgr folder to the trash, and then select Empty Trash
    from the Finder menu.

  • Copy the mathlic.dat file which was compressed within the license file your downloaded.

  • Click on R2020a_Update_maci64.dmg

  • Double Click InstallForMacOSX

Step

 

  • Press on Advanced Options and choose I have a File Installation Key
  • Click Next

  • Mark: Yes to accepting the license agreement.
  • Click Next

 

Step

 

  • Insert the contents of the file FIK_NetworkServer_2020a.txt that is found in the zipped license file that you downloaded.


  • Click Next

 

Step

 

  • Enter the path of the mathlic.dat file that is found in the zipped license file that you downloaded.
  • Click Next

  • Enter or Select the installation folder

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Choose products you wish to install

  • Click Next

Step


  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Click Begin Install

 


Step

 

  • Click Close
  • Installation is complete
