MATLAB R2020a Network License- Installation Guide for Windows

NOTES:

• MATLAB installation requires typically hard drive space of 5 to 8 GB. A full installation is 31 GB
• Supported Systems: Windows 64 bit 10, 7 SP1, Server 2019, Server 2016
• 32 bit systems are not supported
• The network license installation is free of charge but requires your computer to be connected to the huji network
  

License Files:

• Click here to download the zip file containing the File Installation Key (FIK) and mathlic.dat files.

Unzip the folder downloaded.

How to decomperss a zip file on Windows 8

Step 1
After downloading a .zip file and opening it, the list of compressed file should appear. The tab Compressed folder tools is chosen automaticlly, if not - choose it. Click Extract all.

Step 2
Choose a destenation folder (optional, you can keep default). Click Extract.

Step 3
This window should appear and afterwards the list of decompressed files.

• Open the iso file and click Setup.
  

• Press on Advanced Options and choose I have a File Installation Key


• Click Next
  

• Mark Yes.


• Click Next.
  

• Insert the contents of the file FIK_NetworkServer_2020a.txt that is found in the zipped license file that you downloaded.
  
  
• Click Next.

• Enter the path of the mathlic.dat file that is found in the zipped license file that you downloaded.
  
  
• Click Next

• Enter the installation folder.
  
• Click Next

• Select the products you wish to install
  
  
• Click Next

• Click Next

• Click Begin Install.

• Click Close
• You installation is complete.
