MATLAB R2020a Standalone License - Installation Guide for Mac

NOTE:

  • Compatibility:
    • This version is compatible with system versions 10.13.6 ,10.14 and 10.15
  • Uninstall previous versions of Matlab before installation
    1. Drag the previous MATLAB folder to the trash, and then select Empty Trash from the Finder menu. From the Finder, select Go To Folder from the Go menu.
    2. In the Go to the folder field in the Go To Folder dialog box, enter:
      /Library/StartupItems/MATLABLmgr
      and click Go. A window titled MATLABLmgr appears, containing several files.
    3. Drag the MATLABLmgr folder to the trash, and then select Empty Trash
      from the Finder menu.
  • Typical MATLAB installation requires 5-8 GB. Full installation is 27 GB
  • Prior to installation please make sure you have received an email message from MathWorks with your email address and MathWorks password.

  • Enter the password of your Mathwork's account.
  • Click on Sign In

  • Click on the arrow of License 40558503 Matlab (Desgnated Computer)

  • Click on R2020a

  • Click on macOS
Step
  • Click on matlab_R2020a_maci64.dmg.zip

  • Click on InstallForMacOSX

    •

Step

 

  • Enter the email address of your Mathworks account
  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Enter your Mathworks Password
  • Click Sign In

 

Step

 

  • Mark Yes that your accept the license agreement

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Select license number 40558503 MATLAB (Designated Computer)

  • Click Next

 

Step

  • Select the desired installation location
  • Click Next



 

Step

  • Select the products you wish to install

  • Click Next



 

Step

 

  • Click Next.

Step

 

  • Click Begin Install

Step

 

  • Click Close
  • Your Installation is complete.
