Installation Guide for EndNote X9.3 Macintosh

NOTES:

  • Supported systems: Macintosh: 10.10.x (Yosemite), 10.11.x (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra) ,10.13 (High Sierra),10.14(Mojave),10.15(Catalina)
  • Office versions: 2011 2016 2019 and Office365
  • Before installing you will need to backup documents in your Endnote directory and uninstall older versions.

    • Important:  When you open an existing library in X9.3 for Mac, it will create a converted version for use with this new database engine. The original library will not be changed, so you can continue using it with X9.2 or earlier. Alternatively, use Sync to move your data across systems and versions

     

Step 1

 

  • Double-click on the file you downloaded EndNoteX9_3Installer.dmg
Step 2

 

  • Double click on Install EndNote X9.

Step 3



  • Click Install.

 


Step 4
  • Click Next..

Step 5
  • Enter the product key you received from the Microshop
  • Click Next
Step 6
  • Enter Your Name:
  • Enter Your Organization

Step 7
  • Click Next.

Step 8
  • Click Next.

Step 9
  • Click Next.
Step 10
  • Click Done
