Installation Instructions for SPSS 26 Windows

 

Notes:
  • Before you uninstall the old version, move any files you wish to keep from the SPSS directory into another directory. This recommendation is intended for data, syntax, output, scripting files, chart templates, etc and not SPSS system files.
  • Make sure your computer is connected to the internet during the installation.
  • This version is supported on Windows 10, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8 Enterprise, Windows 8 Pro.
  • Your authorization code is found on the second line of your Microshop order.
  • Instructions for License renewal

Step 1

 

  • In the extracted folder click on:
    SPSS_Statistics_26.exe

Step 2

  • Click Next.

 

Step 3

 

  • Select I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next

 

Step 4

 

  • Mark Yes if you wish to install essentials for Python.
  • Click Next.

 

Step 5

 

  • Mark I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next


 

Step 6


  • Mark I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next

 
Step 7


  • Click Next

 
Step 8


  • Click Install

 
Step 9


  • Choose Start IBM SPSS Statistics 26 License Authorization Wizard
  • Click Finish

 

Step 10

 

  • Select License Product.

Step 11

 

  • Click Next

Step 12

 

  • Choose Authorized user license...
  • Click Next

Step 13  

  • Enter the Code that was sent to you with your order.
  • Click Next

  • Click Next.

Step 15

 

  • Click Finish.

  • Install spss26 patch by clicking 26.0-im-s26statc-winxx-fp001.exe.

Step 17



  • Click Next

Step 18



  • Choose I accept the terms of the licesense agreement.
  • Click Next.

Step 19



  • Click Install.
Step 17



  • Click OK.





License Renewal  



  • In order to renew the license, run
  • Start -> Programs -> IBM SPSS Stastics -> IBM SPSS Statistics 26 License Authorization Wizard
  • Repeat steps
    • 10 through 15.
