Installation Instructions for SPSS 26 for Mac

 

Notes:
  • If you wish to uninstall an older version, move any files you wish to keep from the SPSS directory into another directory. This recommendation is intended for data, syntax, output, scripting files, chart templates, etc and not SPSS system files.
  • Make sure your computer is connected to the internet during the installation.
  • This version is supported on 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15 64 bit only
  • You should receive your License code with your order.

Step 1

 

  • Click on spss26mac.dmg
  • Click on the file SPSS_Statistics_26.dmg

Step 2

  • Click on the SPSS installer.

 

Step 3


  • Click OK.

 

Step 4

 

  • Click Next.

 

Step 5

 

  • Choose I accept the the terms in the license agreement
  • Click Next.


 
Step 6

 

  • Choose Yes.
  • Click Next.


 
Step 7

 

  • Choose I accept the the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next.


 
Step 8

 

  • Choose I accept the the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click Next.


 
Step 10

 

  • Click Install.


 
Step 11

 

  • Mark Start SPSS Statistics 26 License Authorization Wizard now
  • Click Done.


 


Step 12

 

  • Select License Product.

Step 13

 

  • Click Next

Step 14

 

  • Choose Authorized user
  • Click Next

Step 15  

  • Enter the Code that was sent to you with your order
  • Click Next
Step 16  

  • Click Next


Step 17

 

  • Click Finish.
Step 18

 

  • In order to install the patch click on the file
    • 26.0-IM-S26STATC-Mac-FP001.dmg
Step 19

  • Click on the SPSS installer.

 

Step 20


  • Enter your Mac username and Password
  • Click Install Helper

 

Step 21

 

  • Click OK.

 
Step 22

 

  • Click Next..

 
Step 23

 

  • Mark I accept the terms in the license agreement.
  • Click on Next

 
Step 24

 

  • Click Next

 
Step 25

 

  • Click Install

 
Step 26

 

  • Click Done

 

 





License Renewal  



  • In order to renew the license open SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard
  • Repeat steps 12
    • through 17.
