Configuring Automatic Windows Updates

[Note for Ein-Kerem campus users: Those who have joined the new (EKMD) system should not do anything - the process has been completely automated].

• Load Internet Explorer
  
• Go to Tools-->Windows Update

• If you don't get this message, just continue to step 1.
  
• If you get the message click go and follow further instructions:

Installing the latest engine update

Step
Go to Start-(Settings) Control Panel

Step
Click Continue.

Step
Right Click the Information Bar (marked with an arrow). Choose: Install ActiveX Control.

Step
Make sure you get the confirmation: Automatic Updates: ON and close the window.

• Go to Start-(Settings) Control Panel

• Double click Automatic Updates.

• mark the option: Automatic
  
• Click OK.
