Uninstall File and Printer Sharing

[Note for Ein-Kerem campus users: Those who have joined the new (EKTNG) system should not do anything - the process has been completely automated].


Step 1

 

  • Click Control Panel (from Desktop or from the Start menu).

Step 2

 

  • Click View network status and tasks (under Network and Internet).

Step 3

 

  • Click on your connection: Find it in the View your active networks section -> Connections-> Click on your connection (not necessarily Local Area Connection).

Step 4

 

  • Choose: Properties

Step 5

 

  • Choose: File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks and click Uninstall.

Step 6

 

  • Click: Yes
  • Close the windows


In case you have no choice but to use File and Printer Sharing again - follow the installation guide.
