Mac Os X - System and Security Updates

 
Step
  • Quit all applications.
  • Go to Apple-->Software Update...

Step
  • Wait for the list of new software updates

Step
  • Mark only Mac OSX Update and Security Update. Unmark the rest of the software.
  • Click Install.
  • Restart the computer.
  • NOTE: If you install Mac OS X updates, it is recommended to perform "Repair permissions" first - instructions:
