Setting Up POP
Windows Mail (Windows Vista & 7)

 

For Windows XP & 7 users: You can download Windows Mail from the following link: http://download.live.com/wlmail

Step

Load Windows Mail

  • Go to Start -->All Programs and choose Windows Mail (or type mail in the search box)

Step

 

  • Click Tools

  • Click Accounts...

Step

 

  • Click Add...

Step

 

  • Choose E-mail Account

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Display name : Type your full name

  • Click Next

Step

  • E-mail address :


Step

 

  • Incoming e-mail server type : Choose POP3

  • Incoming mail:

  • Outgoing e-mail server : Type outmail.huji.ac.il

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • E-mail username :

  • Password: Type your password

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Mark: Do not download my e-mail at this time

  • Click Finish

Step

 

  • Click Properties

Step

 

  • Click on the Advanced tab

  • Mark Leave a copy of messages on server

  • Mark Remove from server after and choose maximum 7 days

  • Click OK

Step

 

  • Click Close
