Savion - POP
Windows Mail (Vista)

 

Step

Load Windows Mail

  • Go to Start -->All Programs and choose Windoes Mail (or type mail in the search box)

Step

 

  • Click Tools

  • Click Accounts...

Step

 

  • Click Add...

Step

 

  • Choose E-mail Account

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Display name : Type your full name

  • Click Next

Step

  • E-mail address : Type your full email address in the format: user@savion.huji.ac.il

Step

 

  • Incoming e-mail server type : Choose POP3

  • Incoming mail: Type pm.savion.huji.ac.il

  • Outgoing e-mail server : Type outmail.huji.ac.il

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • E-mail username : Type your username in Savion

  • Password: Type your password

  • Click Next

Step

 

  • Mark: Do not download my e-mail at this time

  • Click Finish

Step

 

  • Choose: pm.savion.huji.ac.il

  • Click Properties


Step

 

  • Click the tab : Advanced

  • Incoming mail (IMAP): Type 995

  • Mark: This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

  • Mark the option: Leave a copy of messages on server

  • Mark the option: Remove from server after 7 days

  • Click OK and close the next window

Step

 

  • Click Yes
