Setting POP in your HUJImail account

 

  • Login to your HUJImail account through the site: http://mail.huji.ac.il
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  • Mark the option: Enable POP
  • Click on the button: Save Changes

Step

 

  • Load Thunderbird

  • Click Tools

  • Click Account Settings...

 


Step

 

  • Click the button: Account Actions

  • Click the button: Add Mail Account...


Step

 

  • Your Name : Type your full name

  • E-mail address : Type your full email address in the format: user@mail.huji.ac.il

  • Click Continue

Step

  • Mark POP

  • Click Manual Setup...

Step

 

  • Click Server Settings from the left pane

  • Server Name: Type pop.gmail.com

  • Port: Type 995

  • Connection security: Mark SSL/TLS

Step

 

  • Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) from the left pane

  • Click Add...

Step

 

  • Server Name: Type smtp.gmail.com

  • Port: Type 587

  • Mark SSL/TLS

  • Click OK

  • Click OK in the next window as well
