  • Download latest version of Thunderbird here.

Setting IMAP in your HUJImail account

 

  • Login to your HUJImail account through the site: http://mail.huji.ac.il
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  • Mark the option: Enable IMAP
  • Click on the button: Save Changes

Step

 

  • Double click on the installation file.

  • Click Next

 

Step

 

  • Click Next.

Step

 

  • Click Install.

Step

 

  • Click Finish.

Step

 

  • Launch Thunderbird.

  • Go to File–>New–>Mail Account.

Step

 

  • Type your name, Email address and Password in the appropriate fields.

  • Click Continue.

 

Step

 

  • Click Create Account.

Step

 

  • Go to Tools–>Account Settings.

Step

 

  • Click on Server Settings in the left pane.

  • Under When I delete a message choose Just mark it as deleted.

Step

 

  • Click on Copies & Folders in the left pane.

  • Under When sending messages, automatically uncheck Place a copy in.

Step

 

  • Click on Junk Settings in the left pane.

  • Unchek Enable adaptive junk mail control for this acount.
