Wireless Connection - Instructions for Guests

alert If your wireless card is managed by a specific application and not by Windows, you will need to follow the manufacture's instructions and choose the network: HUJI-guests.
alert There are limited service for guests: slow connection browsing NOT including libraries databases & internal sites)

 

Choose wireless network
Step

  • Click the main Start of the Windows

  • Click Settings -> Control Panel (if you don't have Settings click Control Panel)
  • Go to Network and Dial-up Connections

Step

  • Make sure your card is enabled.
  • Right click Wireless Network Connection and choose: Enable

Step

 

  • Right click Wireless Network Connection
  • Choose: View Available Wireless Networks


Step

 

  • If you are connected already to another HUJI network - click Disconnect and quit your browser.

  • Choose the network HUJI-guests and click Connect.

Step

 

  • Click Connect Anyway

Step

 

  • You will now see that HUJI-guest is connected

 


Login
 

 
  • Load a browser and surf the web.

  • NOTE: You will be remained connected till you disable your wireless card.

 

 

Disconnect
Step

 

  • Click the main Start of the Windows

  • Click Settings -> Control Panel (if you don't have Settings click Control Panel)
  • Go to Network and Dial-up Connections

Step

 

  • Right-Click Wireless Network Connection
  • Choose Disable
