Wireless Connection for Guests- Vista

Notes
alert If your wireless card is managed by a specific application and not by Windows, you will need to follow the manufacture's instructions and choose the network: HUJI-guests.
alert There are limited service for guests: slow connection browsing NOT including libraries databases & internal sites)
Choose wireless network
Step

  • Right-click on Network either fom the desktop or from the start menu.

  • Click properties

Step

  • Click on Manage network connections

Step

 

  • Make sure your card is enabled.
  • Right click Wireless Network Connection and choose: Enable

Step


  • Right click Wireless Network Connection and choose: Connect/Disconnect

Step

 

(If you are already connected to another HUJI network - disconnect, quit your browser and continue)

  • Choose the Network: HUJI-guest

  • Click Connect

  • Click Connect Anyway

Step

  • You will now see that HUJI-guest is connected
  • Click Close to close the window.

Login

 

 
  • Load a browser and surf the web.

Disconnect

  • Right-click on Network either fom the desktop or from the start menu and click propertie (as shown in the image in Step 1).

Step

  • Click on Manage network connections

Step

  • Disable your card.
  • Right click Wireless Network Connection and choose: Disable
