ADSL Connection (PPPoE) with Windows 8   Notes: You need to register for a HUJI connection account. If you haven't done so yet, connect to our registration site - http://rap.huji.ac.il. CS users don't need to register.

Enter Control Panel Click on View network status and tasks.

Click on Set up a new connection or network .

Step
Click on Connect to the internet option. Click Next.

Step
Click on the Broadband (PPPoE) .

Step
In the User name field type your username%ra@huji [CS users: username%tcs@huji] Type your password.

Step
Mark the option: Remember this password. Type a connection name, such as: ADSL-HUJI. Mark the option: Allow other people to use this connection. Click Connect

Step
Wait until connection is achieved.

Step
Click Close

Ending the ADSL connection
When the ADSL connection is no longer needed you may disconnect by double clicking on the connection icon Click on Disconnect
