- Compaq announcement about explosion hazard of batteries in some portables.
- Courses by Omikron Delta (Matlab).
o Compaq announcement: Compaq has found that in some models of laptops
Armada V300 and Armada E500 there is a problem with the battery which
might explode under some specific conditions. There a detailed

o Courses by Omikron Delta: Omikron Delta (1927) Ltd, the MATLAB
representative in Israel, announces new seminars and courses on
MATLAB, as follows:
Seminars:
- Seminar of acquaintanceship, on 27 November 2000
- Simulink for DSP, on 14 December 2000
- MATLAB GUI (Graphical User Interface), on 21 December 2000
- Signal Processing with MATLAB, on 3 January 2001
Each seminar lasts 4 hours. Participation to seminar is free of
charge, but it is conditioned by a prior registration.

- Image Processing with MATLAB, on 17-19 December 2000
