o Internet-2 lecture: A lecture about Internet-2 usage for research
will be given by Hank Nussbacher (from Machba) on Thursday 27/1/00 at
10:00 in Beit-Belgia (room 5).
o Improper usage of University's Computers: The child of a university
employee used his father's dialing account while his father was
abroad, and broke into several computers.
The employee did not deny his responsibility for preventing improper
usage of his account, apologized for having failed to do so, and
agreed to compensate the university for the damage caused, in order to
avoid a disciplinary process. It was decided that he will pay a fine
of 5,000 NIS and send a letter of apology with a commitment to prevent
such accurrences in the future.
