Today's topics:
- Charging for modems usage.
o Charging for modems usage: The university management has decided to
implement a modem usage fee, effective from 1/10/97. The rates as
listed bellow are:
Sunday-Thursday, 8:00-16:00 - 0.25 NIS per hour.
Sunday-Thursday, 16:00-22:00 - 0.5 NIS per hour.
Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-2:00 (next day's mornning) - 1 NIS
per hour.
Weekends and holidays - All above hours of the day -
0.25 NIS.
Every night, 2:00-8:00 - free.
Fees are cummulative and computed according to the exact sum of all
calls (no rounding).
It is not known yet how budgets will be charged, and a separate
announcement will be sent when this data is available.
