Creating a restore point - Win XP

 


Step 1

 

  • Go to Start-(All) Programs-Accesories-System Tools-System Restore

     NOTE: If System restore is active and you don't get this window skip to Step 3.

  • Click Yes.

Step 2

 

  • Remove the mark from the option: Turn off System Restore on all drives.

  • Choose your account from the list.

  • Click the Properties button.

Step 3

 

  • Choose the option: Create a retore point.
  • Click Next

Step 4

 

  • Type a name for the restore point. For example: before sp2
  • Click Create

Step 5


  • Click Close
