Setting up mail in Outlook Express (pc)

 

Note:
If it is the first time you setup an account in Outlook Express, a window will appear. Click Cancel and continue with Step 1.

Step 1

 

  • Click Tools from the main menu.

  • Click Accounts...

Step 2

 

  • Click Add

  • Click Mail...

Step 3

 

  • Display name: Type your name

  • Click Next

Step 4

 

  • E-mail address:

  • Click Next

Step 5

 

  • Choose POP3 under: My incoming mail server is a

  • Incoming mail server:

  • Type outmail.huji.ac.il as the outgoing mail (SMTP) server

Step 6

 

  • Password: Type your password

  • Click Next

Step 7

 

  • Click Finish

Step 8

 

  • Click Properties

Step 8

 

  • Click on the Advanced tab


  • Mark Leave a copy of messages on server


  • Mark Remove from server after and choose maximum 7 days


  • Click OK

Step 8

 

  • Click Close
