- BMAIL bug fixed.

o BMAIL bug fixed: There was a bug saving binary attachments in BMAIL
(the attachments were saved corrupted). This bug was located and
fixed.
o Testing Personal computers for Year 2000 Readiness (written by Diego
Kramer):
One aspect of Year 2000 readiness involves ensuring the desktop
computer continues to function properly after December 31st, 1999. A
key element of this is the PC's Hardware (the Basic Input Output
system - BIOS); the y2k (y2k = abbreviation for Year 2000) problem
concerns software as well: operating systems, software packages and
applications.
The Hebrew University tender committee elected the ArtNet Expert ltd.
company to perform Hardware and Software testing for year 2000
readiness of Personal Computers.

The service can be ordered in the following ways:
1. Hardware tests - 25$ for PC
2. Software packages - 38$ for PC and Mac (for a predefined list of 12
software packages- see

3. Hardware and Software test - 51$ for PC only (46$ for 25 PC
together at the same site)
4. applications test 38$ an hour
